In case you've had the good fortune to be living under a rock for the past year, I should probably let you know that the past several months have been a tad politically contentious. Some Republicans are insisting that Biden's election win was blatantly fraudulent. Meanwhile, Democrats maintain that the same election system they claimed for years was rife with meddling to elect Trump is suddenly impermeable and unquestionable.
It's a madhouse out there.
I anticipate a lot of, "Biden is not my president" statements from the right, and a lot of, "Biden is your president, like it or not, traitor" comments from the left. I maintain the same arguments I made after the last inauguration. Instead of reposting an update, I leave you this link to the original.
Politics is a circus, but it is not my circus, and the politicians are not my monkeys. Just leave me in peace. Society exists in spite of, not because of, the State. I reject politics because I embrace society. Meanwhile, I plan to keep my head down while the partisans fling poo.
