Anyone who has been to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has probably heard of and/or been to the Batu Caves. They're not anything particularly impressive, although worth checking out for sure. Caves in south east Asia are very often temples/sacred grounds. Unfortunately, they're all too often littered and abused due to this. The tourism doesn't help either. Even still, caves are rather putrid places in general if you're unaware.
The thing that makes these caves nice is that they open up in the middle and sun comes into them, as well as fresh air! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any nice shots of this part of the caves. There were too many people and I didn't get the settings quite right to handle the lighting.
Regardless of this, I was able to break out my Canon 70-200 IS/USM f/2.8 lens and get some great shots of all the monkeys that cover the grounds outside of the caves. This lens rocks. I have some other photo sessions I'll post up soon too if you're interested - follow me!

If you've never had the opportunity to interact with monkeys before, they're very clever. They act like a bunch of kids honestly. But don't turn your back on them, they're really sneaky and fairly aggressive as well.
