Despite my lack of talent, I am making an effort to improve.
Every time I come here, I look at the drawings to see if I can learn something new about how to make great art.
I tried to sketch a spooky hand because Halloween is soon. It was inspired by the screaming hand, but I decided to alter it a little by giving it a tongue that resembles a tentacle and give it longer bloody nails.
For this artwork, I used colored pencils that I just purchased. I generally make digital art, but I want to try drawing traditionally.
First I drew a draft of the hand
2nd I outlined it with a sign pen
3rd I colored it with colored pencil
I'm still not good with colored pencils, I find it a little difficult to blend, but I think I'm gonna try watercolor pencils next time.
