This is the second part of the Alternative Idol videos and songs published last week (click here for the first part). Originally I scheduled this post for Saturday but there are enough videos already this week for a separate article. So, I change my schedule to adjust for the latest developments. This article will have a darker tone music-wise.

Kolokol - Squall

Kolokol are a totally new group and this is their debut. They have a head start in comparison to other new projects because they are managed by we-B Studios -the same agency as Passcode. Unlike Passcode though, Koji Hirachi is not directly involved in the project and that can be heard in the music. It is not as crazy as the music of Passcode and it sounds like a rock Idol group than an Loudol (Loud Idol) unit.

Despite being new, they have already announced their first album, titled Nostalgia. It will be officially released on May the 13th but it already available on iTunes and Spotify.

JyuJyu - Higagokoro

There is no video for this song, only audio on Soundcloud. On Sunday, JyuJyu did a sold-out live. When they announced that it was sold-out, they also made available this song. A couple of weeks back, when I presented their video for 35 Seki, I wrote

Of course the new incarnation of JyuJyu has to find its musical path but I think that this is the exception to the path they will follow.

They didn't disappoint me! It even has a more traditional Metal feeling than the usual JyuJyu songs. They also seem to be finding the right mix for the vocals between Neu and Chun.

JyuJyu seem to ride on a high wave recently and they definitely try to capitalize on that. After the addition of Chun and Yurane their popularity seems to be growing. This can be seen by the fact that Chun has been recently voted as the Tokyo Idol Queen, beating Sari from Necronomidol* in the process. Sadly, no video for this as we cannot embed twitter videos on Steemit. Here is a link to the moment of the announcement -->

HAMIDASYSTEM - Yoru No Hakoniwa

HAMIDASYSTEM cannot stand still for a moment. Every once in a while they release songs, videos, mini CDs, what have you. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining; I love every moment of it! Now they are embarking on the biggest project of their short life. A five month artistic journey through music, performance and literature.

Each month, which started in April, they will release a part of a story which will conclude on their One Man Live at the end of September. For each part of the story they will also release a song, as well as hold a special performance which relates to the part of the story being revealed. To give an example, the first part is about Mitsui finding refuge from reality in a planetarium. The title of the song translates to "Miniature Garden of the Night". On Saturday, May the 12th they will host an event in an actual planetarium!

The story will unfold at http://story.hamidasystem.jp . The site is in Japanese but using Google Chrome, the pages can automatically be translated to other languages as well.

The only way I can describe the song is as a meditation. The first time I listened to it I was annoyed that it ended!
