Ohhhh here we go.
360 degrees is a definitive number.
One of the best branches of science proves it, and is backed by the one and only branch that is always 100% definitive = good old mathematics.
Now, what is a definition of "A Day" (light + darkness).
Is it the period of time that it takes for "the light to show up again after the darkness"?
or is it in accordance with the man made unit of measurements which we call hours, minutes, seconds?
A Full Day (which man calculates in hours) is in fact in the world of Cosmology, Biology, Botany and probably most importantly (imo) Physics (the list goes on) the period of time it takes from "sun rise to the next sun rise" (to describe it in simple layman terms) and not 24 hrs which is an invented unit of measurement that does not comply with the above description of "One full Day" (light + darkness, til the next light).
It is amazing though, that man has adjusted what was a 360 day year to a 365 day year to accommodate/comply to the invented 24 hour unit of measurement of a day, instead of the other way around.
Sure, this may cause confusion after so many years of using a "24 hr clock".
Look at how much strife, pain, anguish the metric system caused the world of imperial measurement, it still hasn't been fully applied all over the world for everything. Now imagine what a different "clock" would do!
However, when one looks into the topic of discussion deeper, one would be amazed and shocked and in awe to find that if one were to apply a simple 360 degrees as a unit of measurement and not the 24 hour clock, then "fine tuning" seems to fall into place.
Ohhh no, "fine tuning" of the universe.
Physicians love this, because they still have no sustainable explanation for it withing the paradigms and thesis that they use as "norms".
Nor do Chemists, nor Cosmologists!
With a 360 degree cycle as the unit of measurement instead of the 24 hour unit of measurement, all the "yearly seasons" fall into place, there is no married couples holiday for mating, namely the 29th of February and it all actually is fine tuned.
However, we are where we are and "the 24 hr clock" as a means of measurement for "one day" and the confusion that this causes when discussing the topic, because of the different definitions of "a full day", depending on the branch of science that one is delving into, would break all current systems in place.
Even a "sun dial" works perfectly in line with nature and complies to the laws of nature unlike what mankind did and added "numbers" to the sun dial. Once man did that, look at the confusion it caused in that field and the lack of harmony it caused with the seasons and calendars and "at what time is sunrise or sunset" etc etc etc.
Not to mention, the endless discussions all due to some "presumably pome bugger" breaking a sundial into 24 segments, then breaking each of those into 60 segments and then breaking each of those into 100 segments and so on.
Typical pome's (poms)!
PS. Even if it wasn't them, I will blame them, just because.
