idk, it was somewhat of a flakey reply!

& don't forget, those bloody Sydneysiders were always more expensive than Melbourne back in the day.

I remember mi dad complaining about it when we went to visit his brother up in Sydney.

Also remember those old lollies "Fags"

Dad would smoke his smokes in the old Kingswood on the way to work on Saturdays and he would buy me a pack of Fags, I would smoke my smokes and we'd both ash out the little smoker windows.

This was back in the day mate, had to be with dad at the factory on the weekends because mum worked at a hospital on the weekends in the kitchen.

Bloody hell, I just had flashbacks to doing bloody homework sitting on a pile of plywood as dad worked.

Man, that sucked. The homework part of it, that is.

But on the way back, he would stop off at either maccas or at the fish and chip shop on Plenty Rd, just across the street from the pub.

Hence, why I remember all those prices from back in the day.

Sometimes, when he wasn't working on Sundays, we'd go to Preston Market and buy a roasted chicken on the way back from dropping mum off at the hospital.
& Pepsi was the drink they had, no coke at that chicken place.

Childhood memories are the best mate.
