We've all experienced it before, where we buy something with a 12 month warranty and then in 12 months and 15 seconds it dies!
COINCIDENCE?
Maybe (NOT)!
But, knowing this, it simply means that we have to go the extra mile, put some more effort into and invest some hard earned cash into maintaining what we have, doing what can be done to help extend the life of some "items".
One such thing that seems to have a "preset self destruct timer" are car batteries!
idk about you, but mine do!
So, to help protect them, we have invested in some battery terminal protection (spray can). Simple to use, does the job and can be used on all types of terminals that may need protecting from the elements.
Think about it, this could be something you may want to consider.
Likewise, paint that literally eats into the rust, converts it into something that is mixed in with the paint and then helps to prevent future rust.
Now, this may not be the cheapest paint out there, but it is excellent for things like "cars" (as one example). Gets the job done, protects the steel from further corrosion (when you notice corrosion. If the colour of the paint isn't a match, well, so be it. Once it is dry, you can always paint over it with the colour that isn't as faded as the paint on your car!
Seriously, this type of rust converter paint is an excellent item to have in your preps. It can come in handy for tools, equipment, anything that can corrode.
Again, something you may want to think about adding (if you haven't already) to your preps.
Remember, the "oil prices" are going crazy and anything that is even remotely related to any industry (practically ALL industries) that is dependent on OIL will be "affected".... and the end consumer/buyer = YOU pays that price!
