Found this on headline on BBC news thought it was interesting,

the artical goes on to talk about how the size of the products has physically shrunk but the price hasn't .
i went on to do some more research and it turns out that The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said it was not just chocolate bars that have been subject to so-called "shrinkflation".

(I have coppied the images from the BBC as i couldnt make them at this time)

The piece then goes on to say how companies have done this to reduce costs and the main cost reduction is in packaging as they can wrap one extra bar for every four they wrap now the packaging size is smaller...

Now I'm sorry but I cant help smell the bullshit, you made your product smaller to save money on the packaging, trying to say that you are doing this for the enviroment, no you shrunk the products so they are cheaper and you can make a larger profit dony lie and say your doing it for the enviroment

the main problem i have with this is the fact that the price has remained the same, i mean if they had put the price down along with the size reduction i wouldnt care but they have done it with the hope that the consumer wouldn't notice. but we did.

I hope you enjoyed reading my opinion this artical

please comment your thoughts and opinions and if you did enjoy please consider upvoting (If you want :) )

Many thanks

Jack
