I will be sharing with you about what I learnt from my online marketing course I am currently undergoing. It takes lots of time and money to be a good marketer.
Onlike every other businesses, there are basic necessities a business needs to functions. Like economics will teach that there are four factors to a business which are land, labour capital and entrepreneur.
Wow! I still remembered them. It still means and still a good student. Nevertheless, to get a successful online businesses you will need certain tools.
An engine
A Vehicle
A fuel
These are the three major things required to start up or build a successful online business. Please do not mind the names. When I get to explain you will get it more clearer. I will talk about the engine while in my other post I will talk about the vehicle and fuel.
The Engine
This is one of the core to starting an online business. The engine is simply simple but very important. When I talk about the engine, I simply mean selecting the product you want to promote.
This is the first area everyone business have to achieve. What do you want to sell or promote. Without getting this settled out then you are not good to go. You should be certain about what you want to do. It could either be freelancing, affiliate marketing, e-commerce, graphic designing, photography, drop shipping, ghost writing, blogging tutoring of people online etc .
All these are many more are varieties of things you could do to make money. I was in such position few months back. I was everywhere. I didn't know what to do. I would follow the trend of where I think the money was. Today I will be like 'oh I want to be a blogger, tomorrow I will be like oh it's affiliate marketing and the other I be damn I am going into freelancing'.
I was there before. Knowing what you want to do and staying by it is the key. I always tell people who wants to be into online businesses this
follow the money but don't chase the money
Yeah this is the key. So not for any reason try chasing money. That's one of the major reason businesses fail today.
Most business persons tend to go after the money. Business doesn't work that way. If you go after the money, you will end up falling out of the market. Business in the real sense is service. Seeing what the environment needs and trying to propound a solution for them. When you genuinely do that, profits comes out as well.
So back to business. If you want to become a online business person, you should decide what you want to do.
Following your passion
When selecting your area of specialisation, go for something you are passionate about. Do go to an area you are not passionate about. Go for something you love doing.
There are often times you feel discouraged because you actually haven't been able to gain anything. Sometimes when looses comes in business what keeps you is your passion.
I advise you
Don't ever go into a field you are not passionate about because at the long run you will fall off the way.
