One funny, sunny summer day,barney went outside to play. Suddenly he heard a sound - A siren whooping all around. A fire truck roared around the bend, Driven by a paintbrush friend. Barney waved and happily said, It's my pal -his name is RED!
He saw a second paintbrush who just loved to splash and swim some too. It was her favorite thing to do, Because, like water, she was BLUE!
Walking further up the street, Barney was surprised to meet... Another friendly paintbrush fellow Buying bananas- his name was YELLOW!
Playing a game of Hide and Seek,'' Barney took a little peek... And saw a brush he had not seen. Hiding in the grass was GREEN!
On a table in the shade, Barney shared the food he'd mode. Here 's a treat you' II love to eat. Named ORANGE like you - its juice is sweet!''
A playful brush spun in the air. Spraying paint drops everywhere! Barney smiled and said with glee. PURPLE's spots won't show on me!
Another paintbrushes, very small, Tickled birds who were quite tall. Giggling with a happy wink, "I Love Flamingos!" Shouted PINK!
A little later, Barney found a brush that rode the merry-go-round. Down and up...up and down, Like his horse, That brush was BROWN!
Soon Barney meet a brush named WHITE, Who like to laugh with great delight...And when the wind would blow just right, He'd dosh outside and fly his kite.
Then rain clouds came and hid the sun, Interrupting all the fun. BLACK remained a happy fella, Splashing under his umbrella.
Though the rain kept falling down, The brushes didn't mope or frown. They painted a picture of Barney at play under a rainbow that brightened the day. Barney wants you to join in the fun, Find all the colors and name each one!
