You are almost correct about where the girls are from, most of them come from Isaan, which is near Laos and shares a lot in common with that country including the wisespread poverty. These women also have a wonderful combinations of genes that have made a majority of them exceptionally beautiful. I do not look down on them for taking advantage of what might be the only opportunity that they have in their lives to make good money. If they chose some other career path they would likely make very little money and many of them, sadly, have family members that are very aware of what they do to make a living. This money gets sent home to mom, dad, grandma, and I can't really imagine how tragic that must be when the money arrives. I'm sure they all pretend that their child is working in a bank or something like that, but they are all very aware of the income.

It's tragic, but it is a big part of life in this country.
