Hi!
It's my first time drawing in this style. I chose wolverine cause I like the character and fierceness.
It's always been a dream to try this drawing style but after nearly a decade, I had the means, experience and chance!
MINI COMIC
PROCESS
I'll show a bit of the process, this is basically flat and I just put layers.
I usually start with eyes, from there I can estimate the anatomy of the face.
I wanted to draw the classic wolverine so he's wearing the yellow suit. And I just made the upper bust since it would require me so much time and effort (and skill which I know I don't have yet) to draw the muscles and body. I made the hands floating so I could move them around for different positions of the claws.
Super fun to change the blades location and just seeing more of it come to life that way!
I've been told the hands look a bit off, yes they will when I change the position because it's only a drawing of one position, I would need to draw arms and shoulders and new hand positions which I didn't have time for.
This is my very first attempt. I hope once I progress I'll come up with more creative poses and effects.
I wanted to put a quote but I guess the Hugh Jackman movies aren't same with this classic costume so I didn't think it fit as much. It should but I just chose to label it Logan. That's more timeless.
Do you like wolverine?
Any other characters you could suggest?
Been thinking of doing aqua man
Thank you so much!
For your time and possibly critique.
Till next time! I have so much to share but one at a time!
