Recently, while strategizing, I came across a new strategy. Maybe some of you already know about this, but others may have kept it to themselves.
I would also like to officially start organizing and sharing tactics that I think will be useful and can be helpful in playing Splinterlands.
I've named this strategy "The Domino" because, yes, you get to name what you discover, especially if you're the first one to write about it (that's just my assumption).
"The Domino" is when you use a summoner with the Resurrect ability and a card with the Martyr ability, ultimately affecting your Tank Card.
Here's how to execute "The Domino":
Use a summoner with the Resurrect ability (such as Chanseus the Great or Astral Entity).
Place Vernari Marksrat in the first position. Please note that Vernari Marksrat cannot be rented or bought, you need to obtain it by playing Daily Focus and hoping to get one from the chest.
It's crucial that the card with the Martyr ability is Vernari Marksrat, otherwise, the strategy won't work.
After Marksrat, place the card that you wish to buff twice.
The idea is to sacrifice Marksrat and let the summoner resurrect it so that it can be defeated again. It's essential to use Marksrat because, firstly, it has low health, and secondly, it is a neutral card that both death and life summoners can summon.
Find a strong card that you want to use as a line of defense, this strategy can help you win many battles.
In this video, I used Chanseus the Great as my summoner, Marksrat as my martyr card, and Time Meddler as my Tank in the first battle. For the second battle, I used the summoner Astral Entity, Marksrat as the Martyr, and Cursed Windeku as the Tank.
