Up early and did a lot of walking this morning as report's of big thunderstorm in the afternoon were being announced on the news. Wow did we get a lot of lightning and heavy rain.
Also I am back in the van traveling about again and yesterday I had a look about the Redcliffe peninsula. One of the ways to get to the peninsula is over the Hornibrook highway bridge. The bridges are 1.2/3 miles or 2.78 kilometres long馃槻
This is what's left of the original bridge
it was a timber built one and it rattled like crazy when we used to go over it in the car as a kid. The original one was replaced with a bigger multi lane bridge and as traffic increased even more they built an even bigger one, now they both only carry traffic in one direction one for north and one south bound traffic.
The two newer bridges.
Thanks for following along with me on my actifit posts 馃榾
