Hello brethren this is what I have learnt from today's bible study,
Science is the branch of knowledge that works on things that are not ordinarily understood up until now, men had no knowledge of the world, there was a time people believed the Earth was flat, but now NASA took a picture of Earth from space and it was proven that the Earth was round, this was possible through technology.
2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Generally speaking man's taste buds usually recognize sugar as sweet, they are some people who believe the truth is a lie and the lie is truth, our mandate as Christains is to share the truth and rebuke thier evil beliefs.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
We should respect the faith of our parents as far as it's the true doctrine, the Bible speaks only of the truth, they are three heavens mentioned in the Bible, but the king James version talks of only one.
Proverbs 15:23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!
Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
2 Corinthians 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
Proverbs 8:22-23 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
According to the Bible God created other works of old before the Earth, this means that the Earth is one of God's new creation and they are some that have existed before us.
John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
thank you very much.
