Spotted a bounty in Strawberry while in Blackwater, prompting a midnight ride. En route, I detoured to Beecher's Hope, arriving around 4:00 a.m. After checking the ranch's lanterns and campfires, I greeted the dog Rufus, petting him before resting.
While standing in Blackwater at midnight, I noticed an active bounty waiting over in Strawberry. I immediately mounted up and began riding through the dark toward the town, hoping to avoid any mishaps along the trail.
Shortly into the trip, I passed a civilian wagon rolling smoothly toward Blackwater. The travelers offered no trouble, and I left them to their quiet journey.
Rather than riding straight into Strawberry, I decided to take a detour to check on my family at Beecher's Hope.
By the time I pulled up to Beecher's Hope, the clock read 4:00 a.m., with dawn just around the corner. A warm lantern light now illuminated the ranch entrance, a welcoming sight, though I noted it was still missing a proper nameplate.
Moving onto the grounds, I spotted several campfires glowing around the property, alongside my white horse resting quietly in the yard.
I walked over to one of the fires, sat down for a brief moment, and opened the cooking menu. Finding my inventory empty of craftable meat, I stood back up and left the campfire behind.
As I walked toward the front entrance of the main house, Rufus came trotting out, sniffing around the porch. It was a relief to see him moving around comfortably after his recent snake bite incident.
I called out to Rufus by name, and he trotted straight over, leaning in happily while I gave the good boy a well-deserved pat.
