Remember to say THANK YOU!

I still remember when I was growing up with my siblings.
We would always wait patiently for our moms delicious food to be prepared.
Immediately she finishes cooking and serving them on a plate she would call us to come select our food.
The selection is always done in an orderly manner, from the eldest to the Youngest.
After selecting, the whole room will be filled with the echo's of THANK YOU MA in other words thank you mama.
What we Did back then was an example of verbal way of saying thank you.
But there are other ways of saying thank you.
And one of such ways is through a thank-you note.
When was the last time you received a thank-you note?
When was the last time you sent one?

In todays world of cyber communication, handwritten messages of gratitude have become something of an endangered species.
Yet, saying "thank you" in writing is special way to let people know that you appreciate their kindness.the following are some suggestions on how to do so.

1. Handwrite the note to give personal touch.
2. adress the recipient by name.
3. if you received a gift, name the gift and tell how you plan to use it.
4. Restate your thanks in closeing.
   
   A thank-you note makes a good impression on the recipient.
   So the next time someone is hospitable to you, does a kind act, or gives you a gift, show that you do not take that one's efforts for granted.
