I had already completed a one-kilometer walk when I decided to pause and take a breather. It had been months since my regular outdoor routines were completely disrupted by weeks of unrelenting, intense rainfall. Despite my initial hesitation to step outside today, I pushed myself to get moving because I knew deep down that my mind and body truly needed this escape.
More than anything, I realized how much I had missed the crisp, salty breeze of the coast. For ten blissful minutes, I simply stood still and savored the cool air, which felt incredibly refreshing after the oppressive daytime heat. It was wonderful to re-explore this familiar corner of our town, a place I hadn't visited in far too long. Lately, being constantly occupied with daily tasks has drained so much of my energy, making me realize that taking the time for a simple walk can be deeply reinvigorating.
