I admit that I have become quite sentimental when traveling in recent years. Moving from place to place always triggers memories of a time when my family was still whole and complete. Back then, we would often travel to the capital city together, especially to send off a family member who was catching a flight to another country. Those airport send-offs were filled with such joy, but things will never be the same again. Today, each of us has our own life to live, and some have started families of their own. On top of that, it has been two decades since we lost our parents. Their presence was the anchor that truly kept us together, and traveling now just makes me miss that bond even more.
