We can see how people aim for material things. In fact, at times we also become inclined to pursue them ourselves. Who doesn't want to have the capacity to buy everything they need and want? You can even help or support others who are in need. Yes, money is necessary. What's questionable is when you put money at the center of your life. We can also see people who are willing to do anything, even if it's wrong, just to gain material things. That's why corruption is so deeply ingrained in the government nowadays.
I saw a post on Facebook regarding students violently hitting and punching their teacher. We don't know the whole story, but seeing how the youth become so violent is alarming. Recently, there have been reports of school shootings, students bullying their classmates, and even teachers being abused by their own students. It's sad that an institution where children should be learning good morals is where violence happens. Most likely, it's partly a result of what children see on the internet, as well as poor parenting.
It's a bit sunny, but it sometimes becomes gloomy today. There's a typhoon coming again, but I hope it will take a different course—somewhere in the sea where no one will be affected.
