As you get older, you tend to become a lot more sentimental. You find yourself looking back fondly on the good old days, drawn to quiet places where you can simply pause and reflect on life. Spending time in this particular spot today has brought back a flood of vivid memories from the pre-COVID days.
Back then, I used to go for a walk here every single morning. I clearly remember an older woman, probably in her early sixties, who was always out doing her regular walking exercises. Whenever our paths crossed, she would give me a warm, genuine smile, and of course, I would always smile back. We never actually spoke or had a real conversation, but her friendly demeanor left a lasting impression on my heart. Standing here now, I can't help but wonder how she is doing after everything that has happened, and I deeply hope she is safe, healthy, and still out there enjoying her morning walks.
