Hi Hiver,
Are you have a plan for this weekend?
Today I will bring you to visit the beautiful place in the north of Vietnam – Ninh Binh province.
At the end of 2019, I had a trip to Ninh Binh. This is my 2nd time coming here, in 2017 I had the opportunity to come here with my university class. This trip to have time to explore Ninh Binh deeper and slower, to be released into the mountains and clouds of this beautiful land.
Ninh Binh is a province located in the North of Vietnam, more than 90km from Hanoi.
Most people fly to Hanoi, and then rent a motorcycle from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. Because the terrain here is mainly a vast green of the mountains and forests, driving while sightseeing is a good choice.
I took a bus from Da Nang to Ninh Binh, after a long sleep of 8 hours, early the next morning I was at Ninh Binh.
I book a lovely homestay in the city center, but it is better to book a homestay in the center of the sights because to reach the tourist attractions, you have to travel a long distance.
My two-day one night trip started with Trang An place.
Trang An is still beautiful, still captivating people over the years. I went in September, the street was not as crowded as I imagined. According to locals, this is the low season of Ninh Binh.
Indeed, the boats docked on the shore, only a few sporadically left the wharf, different from the bustling atmosphere in the New Year or summer.
On the first day of the journey, I went with 2 friends from Spain. While sitting on the boat walking around Trang An, we quietly contemplated the beautiful, peaceful scenery, the caves, temples, and wild beauty in a unique way.
We share with each other about many things such as tourist attractions to visit in Ninh Binh, in Vietnam. After more than a few hours on the boat going around the caves, we parted to go to the next destination.
I chose to go to Mua Cave, a tourist destination 10km from the city center - which is known as the paradise on earth of Ninh Binh. Because from the top of the mountain, looking out into the distance, you can see the vast rice fields, but to see that beautiful scene you have to pass nearly 500 stone steps.
In the middle of the long slope, there is a small shop, selling drinks to tourists who are engrossed in the long way to conquer the slope.
On my last day in this beautiful city, I decided to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda. And this is also the place that impressed me the most, by the quiet, solemnity along unique architecture of the temples. This is also where I met my travel partner.
A girl with the same passion is to love to explore and discover the beauties marked by time. After a few greetings, we decided to explore Ninh Binh together on this last day. We walked through the corridors of the temple, walking slowly and feeling this precious stillness.
Bai Dinh pagoda space is extremely large, it takes a whole morning to go to every corner.
At noon, we moved through the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, the magical beauty of a peaceful village combined with historical sites made us appreciate the value of the trip.
Tuyet Tinh Coc relic site is opposite Hoa Lu, making us feel deeply how Ninh Binh has been favored by nature. Surrounding the flooded valley are rocky mountains that have stood tall for thousands of years, a small temple hidden in a corner of the canyon. The mountains and clouds have a clear blue color, making everything around them lush.
As a result, the people's mood also becomes much more harmonious. There are couples who come here to take wedding photos, preserving the memories of youth with this charming scene.
We just walked slowly, inhaling for each sip of fresh, peaceful air until it was time to say goodbye.
I returned to Hoi An, and she returned to the bustling Saigon.
That trip not only gave me precious memories of this beautiful city, but also a connection with friends from all over the world. Friends that we still cherish to this day.
The photo was taken by me and my friend NaNa
