[ENG-SPA]💛Earring Contest Freestyle: My entry💛

Hello my friends of #Hive, I am very excited to make my first publication in the new community #Jewelry, the truth is that I thought it was a good idea to have a space to publish only jewelry made by ourselves and the best of all is that you must use recycled material. The idea of making this kind of earrings came up a few days ago at night, the power was out and I spent a long time thinking about what to submit for this first contest of the community. So I came up with this simple tutorial. Let's go with the step by step.

Holaaaaa mis amigos de #Hive, estoy muy emocionada de hacer mi primera publicación en la nueva comunidad #Jewelry, la verdad me pareció una buena idea tener un espacio para publicar solo joyería hecha por nosotros mismos y lo mejor de todo es que se deben usar material reciclado. La idea de hacer este tipo de pendientes surgió hace días en la noche, se había ido la luz y duré bastante tiempo pensando que presentar para este primer concurso de la comunidad. Así que bueno se me ocurrió este sencillo tutorial. Vamos con el paso a paso.

• We fold a circle and fold it in half, then fold it again to form a cone. We give a few stitches with the thread at the base of the "cone". We will not cut the thread.

• Doblamos un círculo y lo doblamos por la mitad, luego lo volvemos a doblar hasta formar un cono. Le damos unas puntadas con el hilo en la base del "cono". No cortaremos el hilo.

• We do the same for the previous petal, until we get 5 petals. Carefully pull our thread until each petal is well gathered. We join with a few stitches the last petal with the first one. I made several flowers, to use them another time.

• Hacemos lo mismo del pétalo anterior, hasta obtener 5 pétalos. Halamos con cuidado nuesto hilo hasta fruncir bien cada pétalo. Unimos con unas puntadas el último pétalo con el primero. Hice varias flores, para usarlas en otra ocasión.

• I cut with scissors a pair of plastic rhombuses, you can make any shape you want.
• I painted the rhombuses in one of their parts with nail polish, I repeated the process a second time. I let it dry.
• With the help of a nail and a hammer I opened the holes where the rhombuses go.
• I made a small ring with copper wire, because I didn't have small rings. I placed each ring and hook in the lozenges.

• Recorté con ayuda de las tijeras un par de rombos de plástico, ustedes pueden hacer la figura que deseen.
• Pinté los rombos en una de sus partes con la pintura de uñas, repetí por segunda vez el proceso. Dejé secar.
• Con ayuda de un clavo y un martillo le abrí los orificios en donde van los rombos.
• Hice una pequeña argolla con alambre de cobre, porque no tenía argollas pequeñas. Coloqué cada argolla y anzuelo en los rombos.

• I chose a small flower and a larger flower that matched their colors, glued them one on top of the other with liquid silicone, glued a small circle in the middle and then sewed a golden sequin and a pearl.
• I opened a small hole in the flower and placed the diamonds.

• Elegí una flor pequeña y otra más grande que combinaran sus colores, las pegué una encima de la otra con el silicón líquido, en el medio les pegué un círculo pequeño y luego les cosí una lentejuela dorada y una perla.
• Le abrí un pequeño agujero a la flor y le coloqué los rombos.

Y listo, así quedaron mis pendientes, espero les haya gustado y se animen a hacerlos, la verdad me sorprendió mucho el resultado que me dieron muchas ganas de hacer otro par de zarcillos (pendientes), pero de otro color 😁 🌎✨El reciclaje es de suma importancia así que les animo a que hagan más manualidades usando material reciclado, para así ayudar a nuestro planeta.
