We are Alive And Thriving. Wednesday Thought - How My Day Went.

In the early hours of today at about 5:05 am we had a very heavy downpours. It came with a large wind such that I thought the roof would be pulled out. After the storm the weather was cool but still cloudy. I never knew we'd experience this kind of sunny weather today. But I'm grateful for the balance in temperature not too cold, not too hot. God is great.

I have mostly worked from home, but this week has been different and quite interesting too. Since Monday I've been going to the office to oversee our business there in the absence of my hubby who traveled out ot town. The work there is kind of stressful as there's no room to lie down and stretch the body unlike working from home.😀 I could only move around to get few things and attend to some clients/customers. But then I noticed some pain in my knee while trying to get down the pavement there. That indicated that I really need to step up in my walk out. At least I need to do 8000 walks a day, I guess I've not been doing up to that.

I took a break to pick a few items at the market before the close of work. instead of taking a cab I decided to walk using my umbrella to avoid direct scotching of the sun. It was a 25 minutes walk to and from, I felt much better afterwards. I came back and refreshed my body with 2 glasses of room temperature water as is not in my habit to take chilled water. Having rested for 5 minutes I was wondering what picture to use for this post, so I went outside to take some photos of these flowers. It's almost close of work I have to complete this post before I get home to avoid distraction from my kids who are already longing for my return.

It's indeed a great and beautiful day for me. My take home for today is; as much as possible I should make it a point of duty to always observe my body change while I still can to avoid paying much for little if I'd noticed it on time. I'm thankful it was actually timely.
