As all new people, I have to introduce myself.
I am 60 years young, with still a few more years of work ahead. I work in the ICT environment, in a company with 8.000 employees and technicians, mainly providing support for our employees with computer problems.
I live in Belgium, the country with tasty beers. ;-) Since 15 years I am very interested in the beer world. I was trained as a beer connoisseur, and I have already tasted many beers, maybe little bit tooooo much :-) . With my own brewing installation I can brew 1HL, and currently there are 2 beers (developed by myself) that I have made by a friendly brewer for commerce (but it鈥檚 still a hobby). Each time a capacity of 15HL per brew.
After completing the beer connoisseur course, I started to take an interest in the kitchen. I have also followed a course for 6 years, and since last year I can call myself a cook. I am a true Burgundian, and for me cooking is pure relaxation. It is mainly the typical French cuisine, although there is a world recipe here and there on the menu. In the kitchen I use the Airfryer a lot. It is not only used for snacks and fries, but almost everything goes into it: vegetables, potatoes, meat, ...
Since 2 years I started working on a 3D printer. I mainly use it to make useful things, although sometimes some decorative items are removed from the print bed.
The last 2 years I have had a lot of fun with this new hobby, as we had to stay at home most of the time because of the Covid-19 period that has captivated the whole world.
Furthermore, I am interested in the crypto world, but at a low beginner level.
My wife lives in Spain, and I live in Belgium, but every 2 months I visit her for a few weeks. Luckily I have a lot of vacation days a year!
And there's a bit of writing involved. Whenever I travel, even if it is only for 2 days (which is really a minimum), I write a blog that I print at home in Belgium, so that my parents can follow my daily life, because they do not own a computer or internet. Fortunately, this technology exists and the world is small these days!
So in the coming posts you can encounter all kinds of things. Be warned! ;-)
