The way you roll your eyes when they meet mine
I miss all the things that had been
When even the wrong feels completely fine

I look back on the days when I call you names
And my feelings I tried hard to hide
With you still stirred up in your games
And with me still by your side

I miss your stupid laughter
The times we spent, I dearly hold them so
Friends of the closest when we’re together
Yet, I have loved you behind a shadow

You care to share your random soliloquy
The pointless things we care to argue
Now I can’t even grasp a hold of reality
When I turn around and know that I have you

It’s most romantic how things turned out to be
I held on to feelings I only knew were true
When the heart is unlocked and friendship was the key
