Praia do Francês is a beach only half an hour away from Maceió by car. Maceió in Alagoas has lots of beaches but none of them is as untouched and paradisaical as the Frances Beach is. We relaxed on a beach chair, went for a dip and explored the surroundings like a leprosy house ruin or a wooden abandoned observation tower. On a good swell you can surf there. There are rentals for surf boards or body boards. If you are in Maceió a visit to Frances Beach is highly recommended!
