I see debates all over the world, should the government (your neighbors) be forced to pay for your education, or pay the student debt?
I'm just sitting here and thinking, why do you need to go to university? Don't you have internet? You heard about it right?
You can find a lifetime of free university grade courses all over, why do you want to pay 100k for education when you can get it free or under 1k if you pay some courses in the range of 10-100$. The problem is already solved. Such a spirited debate for a problem that's not relevant anymore.
This is the time when universities should begin to close down, power down, you had your time. Let only the best remain for those who need constant supervision to work the material.
You may say that not all the courses are online. Well maybe, but why not pay a professor to make the course ONCE, and make it available to 4 billion people and counting, instead of paying him year after year to talk to a room of 300 people. We have other problems to take care of and we spend money in the most inefficient way.
Do you know why do people really go to the university? It's not for learning, no. Go to the average university and you will see the disinterest in anything that goes there. They go for a piece of paper, that they hope will land them a job. Or worse, they want a job that is conditioned by the paper, no other way can you become a lawyer or an engineer, no way, just the university way. In the past there would be a little thing called "can you do the job?", now it's, "do you have a good memory and 100k?".
If you are ready to save money for your education, protest against the monopoly of higher education on certain job certifications and choose one of this sites and channels to start learning.

I think this is enough, keep your money or do more with them. With 100k do you know how many courses can you take? well all the free ones and 500 000 paid ones, can you learn half a million things? This is what I call an education :).
