i forgot what this was called but more along the cause of unity and friendship. this structure stood out the most when we visited kamata that day. this was massive! at 3 or 4 meters tall, and looking very solid, i wonder how heavy this structure was. here was how the day went.

the housemate had earlier planned to visit our friend who had shoulder surgery weeks before. this plan was finalized the day before and he invited me to go. and today i had nowhere and no plans, so i decided to tag along. the scheduled time was still far so might as well have a quick stop before the agreed time.

kamata

it was very sunny that day, i would have been out and walking in the streets normally. but i was here in a quite remote area of tokyo instead, one of the southernmost areas before officially crossing the kanagawa prefecture. there was so much going on in this station, and i guess my interest directly went towards the plant shop.

we walked through this shopping street and reached a quiet place. it was around here were i took the unity or friendship structure. it was more quiet than what was usual in other tokyo areas.

that huge building earlier had some figure statues outside. having many statues definitely brought attention to the building. but unfortunately i have no clue what this building was, nor couldn't find this on google maps. i was just lost at this point.

but you know what, we only had this short stop just to enjoy coffee and dessert. that was affogato by the way, the coffee espresso to be drizzled on top was just at the side. should have poured it over before taking the picture, but i was to lazy to retake and i was too ready to taste some ice.

we finally headed to the friend's house, but they were at the park when we came. it was a normal neighborhood park, nothing grand to expect. children were playing when we came just a few minutes past 5pm. it really was fun to see the kids playing and just having fun. it was fun seeing kids be kids and mingling with other kids. in this modern tech filled world, some kids no longer have the luxury to be kids any more.

this area was even more remote, very residential. and that just makes sense how there were so many children on the park. we were just there talking and keeping company.

one thing i noticed while walking in the neighborhood was this plant. i have seen this plant a couple of times before, but this was my first time seeing it with some fruit. it was really weird and i really thought that there was some foreign object on the plant. but then, it was part of the plant. it looked interesting! this just shows that this world is a never ending place of learning.

as i have said earlier, we were just indoors and talking about life updates. it really was a fun time and we went home late at night. that unfortunately meant that my step count was a bit lower than expected. nonetheless, it was a fun time and a very soul enriching moment.
