The programmer, under the pseudonym MG, designed a self-destroying "USB flash drive" from a normal USB drive with the possibility of installing malicious code on the victim's computer.
In his blog MG described in detail the process of creating a device. USB-drive was modified with the ATtiny 85 chip, which makes it possible to turn a standard USB flash drive into USB Rubber Ducky - a special device that the computer recognizes as a USB keyboard. This device allows you to easily introduce malicious code to the target system.
Then the programmer found a way to modify the power supply mechanism so as to cause an explosion of the device after a certain time after connecting to the computer.
For security reasons, the developer did not begin to give in his instructions a sequence of actions that would cause an explosion.
