Hi everyone, it’s me, Rhea, again. And guess what, I am now finally sharing all the details about my Nanay's 60th birthday celebration. This was a very special day for my nanay and I could not wait to share it with you all.
The day before was all about getting ready for my nanay’s birthday but the most exciting part of it was waking up on the actual birthday of my nanay. I quickly jumped out of bed to see the party area already full with decorations like balloons everywhere and a tarpaulin with adorable pictures of Nanay and also my one-year-old cousin. And wanting to get things done I jumped right in helping our neighbor arrange everything.
Then I go to the kitchen to assist my auntie. She was making up some delicious chicken teriyaki, and so I got on chopping duty for all her ingredients so that she can make it easier with my help.
After helping my auntie she then told me to carefully arrange the birthday cake on the table to make sure it looked presentable and perfect. By the way you have to see how cute those cupcakes were.
And then I went back inside again and the smell of the chicken teriyaki sauce was absolutely mouthwatering. And seriously you have no idea how good it smelled. And finally, it was done. Just thinking about it now makes me hungry all over again Lol.
Once the teriyaki was ready I headed back outside to arrange those cute cupcakes on the table. Then, I helped our relatives and washed the plates so they wouldn't have to do it all themselves.
Later, the house started filling up with visitors and guests many of them bringing cakes for my nanay. It was so heartwarming to see that how much love everyone has for her!.
Take a look of the foods that we had prepared specially the lechon so yummy and anyway guess what? This is the one that I made, it’s the lumpia, LOL!
Anyway we all gathered, blessed our food, and then sang Happy Birthday to Nanay and to my cousin.
You should have seen Nanay dancing while we sang she was so happy.
After that, we all sat down for an early dinner when we finished eating, I grabbed a quick photo with my childhood friends by the way I am the oldest of the group.
Just as we finished snapping pictures, I heard laughter from outside and went to see. And there was my nanay dancing with our relatives. You could just feel the joy from her face. Seeing her so happy and enjoying herself made all of us happy too.
