We are, currently, experiencing mass flooding here in South Africa and thousands of people have lost their homes and their livelihoods; much of it is due to seriously bad planning. I had no idea that Brisbane had similar problems. As to housing developments, we are seeing much of the same, horrible little boxes set in concrete jungles, weird when SA has so much “green” to offer.
