Hello my dear Hivers!
Today, I want to share with you the view on our way to Catmon, Cebu City.
It was Friday when my mama messaged me during class asking what time I’d be going home because we were going to visit my relatives for a fiesta. These relatives of mine are the same ones I’ve been with before when we went swimming at Guafely Beach.
We’re often together because one of my relatives and my family are close childhood friends, and they frequently see each other, especially on workdays.
Back to the story, before Mama messaged me, we already had plans with my circle of friends to visit Keziah’s place to pick up a kitten she was giving me. Her cat had just given birth and they had several kittens at home. After getting the kitten, we were also planning to eat balot, which is usually sold around 5 PM near Keziah’s place.
But after our afternoon class, Keziah told us that they had somewhere to go and couldn’t accommodate us. I also replied that we had to go somewhere too, so our plan to visit her didn’t push through.
After our class and a short conversation with my circle of friends, we decided to just go on our way home.
The class ended at 3 PM, and it was still hot. I suggested to Johan and Lavester, who were also going home with me since we’re headed to the same place, but we’re not exactly neighbors. Like, our houses aren’t that close, it’s just that we live in the same barangay, and our barangay is quite big too. Going back we then take the tricycle instead. They agreed with the reasoning, "Sure, it's hot anyway, and we still have coins."
A few minutes later, we were in a tricycle, speeding off for the bus stop. Not long after, a regular bus arrived, and while looking for a good seat, I messaged Mama that I was on my way home.
I got home around 4 PM and immediately looked for clothes to wear for our trip later at 5 PM.
An hour later, we left. I brought a lot of makeup with me since I hadn’t finished doing it at home, and my plan was to finish it in the car.
On my way there, that's how I got to see the view, I was really awed by the beauty of the trees, the splendid tall ones in particular. My heart leapt for joy that we traveled this road in daylight when it was not yet dark, for I really was able to appreciate the beauty of nature.
After seeing the view, I then look for my phone to take pictures. Some shots would surely turn out blurry, but it didn't bother me; I was sure I'd snag some keepers.
And here are some of the pictures I took!
An hour later during our trip, we passed by the sea and yes, you can clearly see it from the road.
What I really love about trips like this is the view from the vehicle, it’s always so unforgettable.
And that’s all for today’s blog, my dear Hivers! Thank you for reading!
