Hello, my dear Hivers!
This is basically the third part of my previous blog, which takes place after the baptism of baby Rylla Shazia, the only daughter of Ate Shella.
As I mentioned in my previous blog, the car we rode going to Ate Shella’s house actually belonged to her cousin. We sat at the back beside Ate Shella and Ate Elai.
On the way to Ate Shella’s place, this is what you’ll see from the road, it was really beautiful because there were lots of greenery trees and grasses, also you could really feel the peaceful probinsya (countryside) life. Turns out, I’ve passed by here before, back when the three of us were planning to go swimming, and our plan was to gather at Ate Shella’s place since she knows how to drive a motorcycle. By the way, there weren’t a lot of vehicles on the way there either.
When we arrived, of course, we greeted her parents first. After that, we looked at the two tarpaulins they had. Turns out, they were celebrating both the baptism and Ate Shella’s graduation together. They looked so gorgeous, didn’t they?
While we were looking at the tarpaulin, Kuya and the others arrived, bringing in the lechon and placing it in the table. After putting the lechon, ate shella's mother, then placed the other dishes. The food was prepared for lunch.
After they arranged the food, we took some pictures since we were still waiting for the others to arrive. And you know what I really wanted to do while we were still at the church? I really wanted to hold the baby and take a picture with her because she was just so adorable! So I told Ate Shella I wanted to carry the baby, and she handed her to me carefully.
After me, it was Ate Elai’s turn to hold the baby. And of course, we also took pictures together.
By the way, here are the foods they prepared. There were a lot of dishes and everything looked so delicious, even just by looking at them, you would already feel hungry!
A few minutes later, we started with a prayer before meals, then we all began to eat.
I only took one piece of puso (hanging rice) and got a variety of dishes. The hotdog on my plate was actually from Ate Elai because there was no more space on her plate.
After lunch, the three of us chatted for a while about life. Then, since Ate Shella had other visitors too, she went to sit with another group for a bit, but later came back. Thus, she told us we should all sit together at one table with her other friends, so we did. Her friends were friendly too.
Then Ate Shella asked, “Do you want to sing, guys?” And we replied, “Yes, sure! Why not?” So Ate Shella rented a karaoke from their neighbor, and after a few minutes, it arrived. It was a really nice karaoke setup, just look at it!
Minutes later, Ate Rikki Rose arrived, a former co-worker of ours. After she ate, we took a 0.5 shot, then continued singing.
And that is all for today’s blog, my dear Hivers!
Thank you so much for reading!
