Hello, my dear Hivers!
This is basically part 3 of my previous blog where I shared with you what we did after having a great time at the carnival night.
After we watched the band at the carnival, my sister told me she was hungry. I replied, “Me too.”
So, we decided to leave the carnival, but then my younger sibling said, “We still need to buy another ticket if we want to go back in.” I responded, “Let’s not go back in so we won’t have to pay for entrance twice.”
As we were leaving, we saw our dad near the shawarma stall and he was buying food. While he was waiting for his order, we asked permission to walk around Bogo Plaza, where there were lots of food stalls. Plus, the fountain looked really nice at night.
My dad just said, “Alright, take care. Just don’t take too long because we’re going home at 12AM.” We just nodded in response.
We took the tricycle to the place, but the driver did not take us straight to the plaza since it was too full already. Thus, we just walked there, and instead of going directly to the fountain, we found our way to the food stalls first.
Some time ago, I was telling my sibling that I wanted to give sushi a go. To which she responded, "Fine, we'll go to that stall selling sushi first, after that, the fountain."
When we got there, not too many people were around yet. It was a good thing, too, because I was quite thirsty, and right in front of the sushi stall was a water dispenser with no clear plastic.
So we walked ahead a little bit to look for some warm water.
After that, we went back to the sushi stall and by that time, there were already a lot of people. So we waited.
Since many people had arrived, the vendors started displaying more sushi with different flavors. A few minutes later, it was our turn, and we finally got to buy some!
My sibling only got one pair of chopsticks. So, we tasted the sushi and since I don’t know how to use chopsticks, she fed me instead. We shared the sushi because we were just trying it out anyway.
After eating, we went inside Bogo Plaza and it was perfect timing because when we arrived, the fountain lights were in rainbow colors. It was really beautiful.
A few minutes later, while we were watching the fountain, even more people showed up.
Later on, we stepped outside again because I was craving sweets. I ended up buying some ice cream, and I chose graham crashed biscuit as my topping which was super delicious! The flavor I picked was vanilla. And yes, it only cost ₱40.
After getting my order, I ate it happily. My sister didn’t have any because she said she was already full.
