Hello, my dear Hivers!
itsmemic@itsmemic once again.

Papa’s Birthday Celebration

Today, I want to share with you all about my papa’s birthday. Let me start this blog by sharing my time with my younger sibling.

Unexpected Knock at the Office

It was five in the afternoon when my sibling messaged me, asking where I was. Our office was already closed by then. Around that time, I actually noticed someone knocking on the office door, but it was such a soft and cute knock that I didn’t really mind it.

After my duty, I went out, and yes, my sibling was there. She even told me that she saw the office lights still on and knocked, but no one answered. I replied,

"Well, who would open the door when you knock so adorably?"

And we both laughed.

A Quick Stop at Watsons

A few minutes later, we went to Watsons to buy a moisturizer. Luckily, she reminded me that we also ran out of lotion, so we went to the lotion section.

When I picked up a bottle, iamlovelykate@iamlovelykate called my name and said,

"Smile!"

I automatically smiled so quickly.

I then suggested,

"Let’s take a picture here."

But since people were passing by, we pretended to bow down, acting as if we were busy doing something.

Cake Hunting at Red Ribbon

After Watsons, we went to Red Ribbon to check out cakes. When we got there, there were no cakes displayed in front. Fortunately, a staff member noticed us and said,

“Ma’am, the cakes are inside. You can go straight to the cashier.”

I looked at their cake menu and prices, but I was searching for a specific cake that we really loved. I asked the cashier about it, and she pointed to the one that was unavailable. But the cake that the cashier pointed out didn’t feel like the right one since it was covered with paper, giving us the idea that the cake was unavailable. So we just said,

“Okay, miss, thank you. Never mind.”

Surprise at Dela Rama Cakeshop

We then went to Dela Rama Cakeshop to buy a dessert instead. To my surprise, the cake we were looking for at Red Ribbon was actually available there!

My sibling laughed so hard because we had been searching for it at Red Ribbon, only to find it here. But since it was quite pricey, we decided to just go with the desserts instead, buying two of them.

After buying, we went back to the school to wait for our mom, dad and brother. A few minutes later, they arrived.

Change of Plans: From Beach to Seaside

Now, we were heading to the 4K's seaside. At first, our plan was to celebrate at the beach, have dinner together, and order lechon manok sa kawali, which is quite expensive.

However, since the sky looked gloomy, my mom suggested that we just eat at the seaside instead. That way, we’d have more food options, and it would be a more filling meal.

We had already ordered lechon manok sa kawali, but my mom decided to cancel it.

On the way to the seaside, the wind was so strong that I said,

"Ma, it’s a good thing we decided to eat here instead."

Dinner at the Seaside

When we arrived, only one table was occupied, and yes, there were a lot of them. They were seated on the right side, so we took a table on the left side.

As soon as we settled in, I asked my mom if there was Wi-Fi there. We asked the staff, and they told the working immersion students to get vouchers for us. Mi

Anyway, a few minutes later, our food arrived, and yes—it was all seafood! Our all-time favorite.

Everything was so delicious, and we were so full, though we couldn’t completely finish everything.

The good thing about this place is that they allow you to take home leftovers, whether it’s rice or viands.

And that’s all, my dear Hivers!
See you in my next blog!
