Side note: I am not a mother, but I am daughter who loves her mom.
Today, I wan to share with you this wrapping process I did for some mugs.
My mom goes to the Christian church almost every day, and for this special day, they decided to hold this gathering with their Christian sisters. For this, they collected some money, and my mom and I went downtown this morning to buy the mugs.
And, since she didn't know how to wrap the mugs, I offerd my help, and did it for her.
MATERIALS:
- High Sticks.
- Cellophane paper.
- Silicone gun.
- Frosted foami.
- Pen.
- Cardboard.
- Metalized ribbons.
- Mugs.
- Candies.
- Scissors.
Step 1: With a heart shape cardboard, I made some of the same size on the cardboard, and on the frosted foami, and then cut them out.
Step 2: I wrote Happy Mother's Day on the heart-shape shapes. Then, proceeded to cut the high sticks in halves, so I could glue the heart-shaped frosted foamis on one side, and the cardboard on the other.
Step 3: We bought 6 meters of cellophane paper. I unfolded each meter and cut them in 4 parts. Each mugh would use half meter of this paper.
Step 4: I centered the papers on the table, and put a mug on the center. I put some coffee candies inside the mug, and I wrapped it from the corners up. I placed the stick the the heart-shaped decoration in the middle, and then with a metalized ribbon I tied the cellophane to hold it together.
I made the same process with the remaining mugs and the dozen of mugs were ready to be gifted.
Now my mom can go to her gathering and brings their gifts to share in their special day.
