Buenas noches, amigos.
sentimos dentro.
Algo sobre ti
me tiene absorta
en un millón de pensamientos.
Algo entre nosotras
cambia con los días
haciendo que no haya
final, pero sí un comienzo.
Te tengo entre mis dedos,
no te me puedes escapar
porque nos pertenecemos.
Somos como el fuego que danza
cuando se vierte
el combustible en él.
Podemos sentir
el amor en el aire,
seduciéndonos al amanecer,
calentando nuestros cuerpos.
Nos adentramos entre las sábanas,
creando nuestro idilio,
dónde no abruman penumbras,
dónde podemos poseernos
bajo la radiante luz
de una lámpara.
Somos aun así peligrosas
para aquellos que no saben nada del amor.
Y seguiremos siéndolo
hasta que nuestra unidad muera.
Gracias por leer.
Good evening, friends. This day I bring you a poem full of love. This being the last day of my favorite month, a month that exalts that love is love in all its splendor and with all its colors. Tonight is the last day of June and what better way to say goodbye than with this poem taken from the repertoire of my January anthology.
It's dangerous
what we both
we feel inside.
Something about you
keeps me absorbed
in a million thoughts.
Something between us
changes with the days
making it so there's
no end, but a beginning.
I hold you between my fingers,
you can't escape me
because we belong to each other.
We are like the fire that dances
when fuel
is poured into it.
We can feel
love in the air,
seducing us at dawn,
warming our bodies.
We go between the sheets,
creating our idyll,
where no shadows overwhelm,
where we can possess ourselves
under the radiant light
of a lamp.
We are still dangerous
to the ones who know nothing about love.
And we shall remain so
till our unity dies.
