Hello, fellow weekenders!

Happy Australia Day!

Our friend galenkp@galenkp asked us today about what would we like to do in Australia if we were to spend this weekend there.

Well, I have to say that if I could spend this weekend in Australia, it would be a dream come true.

I have never been outside my country, and traveling to other countries is a dream for me. However, it is quite difficult for that to happen given the economic conditions that mortals like me suffer through.

However, since this is an "if I could," I would say it would be a completely out of this world experience. It would be a blessing to be able to visit Australia.

I've heard so many crazy things about this country, especially, about the disproportionate size of the insects and some species that make me a little scared, but other than that, I would be too excited to see the majesty of said country.

What would I like to do that weekend? Well, to tell you the truth, I feel that I am a person of simple tastes, but that doesn't mean that I don't want to do things out of the ordinary.

I would like to go to the Melbourne Zoo and appreciate the different species of animals they have, and I would like to see the koalas mostly. I would like to be able to go to the botanical gardens and observe the flora. Take lots of pictures and enjoy the fresh air.

I would also go to watch the sunset at Altona Beach. Have a drink and read a book there. I would not fail to visit the theater or the libraries. I would stop by Queen Victoria Gardens and have a picnic while documenting everything I see.

It would be one of the best things that would ever happen to me. So this is what I would do if I were there for a weekend. It would be great.

And by the way, I would love to go to a dance club, and dance a lot, since that is something I don't do in my country unless I've some drinks. Hahaha.
