Hello, there! How are you doing? Hope you're great.
Today, I wanted to share with you my latest work. I've never worked with copper, but I was intrigued by the idea of making a tree with it. Besides, I had a lot of buttons of different colors that I wanted to use.
Materials:
- Copper Wire.
- Pliers.
- Lots of buttons.
- Sand and Rocks.
- Silicone Gun.
- Small Clay Vase.
- Jute Rope.
Step 1: The first thing I did was separate the copper and leave the big one for the tree trunk. The thinnest will be the branches.
Step 2: I started by twisting the thinnest copper wire on the base of the thick one. Then I wrapped them around it giving them kind of loose at the tips. I repeated this process with the rest of the copper wire.
note: I wanted separated branches and I pursued this idea, but I ended up charging my mind.
Step 3: On the tips of the copper wires, I put buttons. One in each of the tips, and with the pliers I helped myself twisting them so they won't fall out.
Step 4: I took the clay vase and wrapped it with the jute rope. I used the silicone gun to glue it.
Step 5: I filled the vase with sand.
Step 6: I place the tree on the center of the vase and topped it with the rocks on the base.
Step 7: I finally decided to twist the branches because I didn't like them very loose.
