Hi friends! How are you today?
For the past three years, I have resided in Da Nang, Vietnam. In Da Nang, there are many wonderful sites to visit, but the most impressive place I've seen so far is Hai Van Pass.

On the Bach Ma (White Horse) mountain chain, Deo Hai Van is a mountain pass. These mountains separate Da Nang from Thua Thien Hue province, which includes Hue, Vietnam's old capital. On Vietnam's National Route 1A, the Hai Van pass, which means "ocean cloud pass," is about 20 kilometers long and 500 meters above sea level. This was the best possible way for people and things to go from North to South and back. These Hai Van crossings, however, have become more of a "drive and enjoy stunning views" experience since 2005, when they built a tunnel beneath the Bach Ma mountain. And where I am going to introduce you is about 30 kilometers away from the center of Da Nang city.

Now, allow me to present you to, in my opinion, the nicest vista on Hai Van Pass. When you travel to Hai Van Quan, you will see old military structures from the nineteenth century, as well as the current boundary between Hue and Da Nang nowadays. Look on your left, you will see " In the cloud" cafeteria. I don't have much to say about this coffee in particular, it's cozy, and the staff is lovely, that's all I have to say. You can ask the waiters to show you how to get up the mountain. It is not a lengthy road, but you must be very careful because it is steep and slick.

And this is what you'll see when you get to the top. You're staring up at the top of Hai Van Pass, which is breathtaking. The road slithers around the mountains and clouds like a snake. The natural splendor of this area cannot be denied; the entire mountain range is blanketed in green. Sitting here with a cup of coffee is probably one of my top three favorite moments of the year so far, nothing compares to this emotion.

And, if you're lucky, like me, you can see the clouds sweep past like a wave. When we were up there, just chilling and talking, the wind became stronger and more frosty. The fog was surrounding us, and we were both scared and excited. That was a lifetime experience opportunity for us, and it was unforgettable.

When the season changes in March or April, the greatest time to observe the clouds sweep by the mountains is about 5 to 6 a.m. or pm. But be careful to go to Hai Van pass because the route has numerous sharp turns and the weather can be harsh sometimes. The fog can be really dense and the road is rather slick, and you won't be able to see clearly. Whenever like that, turn on the light of your motorbike or car and drive safe.

Otherwise, if the weather is good, you gonna have many beautiful shots at this location.
