I live in Vietnam, a country in Southeast Asia. We have two calendars: one that is used by the entire world and the other that is the lunar calendar. We all celebrate the night before the new year, but the lunar calendar's final day is much more important. People in my small town start launching fireworks in the middle of the night, when the count down 0:00 a.m., and the sky becomes light and color party. I love that spectacle and look forward to it every year on my balcony. I took some photos that I really enjoy, therefore I'm sharing them with you along with the camera settings. Enjoy!
For taking pictures of fireworks, you have to have a tripod. Then low your aperture to 5.6 or 8 or even 11 and set your shutter speed around 3 to 4 seconds. That is my setting, it works for me that night but with you maybe just need some little changes about aperture or shutter speed.
