A red Canadian maple tree is planted in the lawn between my neighbor and myself. It's leaves are not the typical green of most trees but more a burgundy red. This is the tree (left side back sorry I missed the leaves then) as it was in 1999.
These leaves are freshly grown this spring and have not attained their full color.
And the children grew and we made many happy memories and the tree stayed in it's place. And the tree grew as well.

So far it has not endured the blight that has killed many thousands of the trees in the city. It is incredible to go through old pictures and see the changes that occurred and how it has grown.
