I once told an Indian girl on steemit that she should visit olumo rock she is aspiring to visit country so I decided to tell her about my country tourist center.
As an indigene of Abeokuta from my mother's side I have always loved olumo rock.I first visited olumo rock when I was 7 year old with my school "le Grand fornessiur located at anfani Ibadan Oyo state Nigeria..
One faithful day the school head master came out and told us about olumo rock on the assembly ground that we should pay a token of 500# to a trip to olumo rock.
When I told my mum about it that was the day I knew my mum was from Abeokuta a town not far from whete olomo rock is located she told me that olumo that long ago whenever there is war in Abeokuta the Egbas(people form under the rock) run there to seek protection that nobody except the Almighty God can conquer or enter there and survive it was then they started worshipping the rock... The second time I went there was to explore...I would have loved to share you the pictures but it's been long but I promise to visit it on my vacation and bring good story and even a video of olumo rock thanks guys
