Death

The sound of death is terrifying
The stories of death are scary
We heard about it all the time
We lost people day and night
Forgetful we remain in a while
Forgetful we are of the death
It shall come to us soon
It was in the neighborhood yesterday
Who knew if it's on its way to me now
Who knew if you'll make it home okay
I mean last week I lost a friend
I prayed on him with tears
He was kind, cool and gentle
He never had time to waste
I remember when he was strong in faith
I remember now he's just a ghost
He suffered all the pain
He was so strong to the aches
Two days ago it happened again
Two of my neighbors gone again
To the doctors we go all the time
To the pharmacy we collect the drugs
Never tired of taking medications
Never tired of applying this and that
It happens anyways
It happens that no one is safe
We wish you all the best in the next life
We wish you Lord's grace and Mercy
So sad you've to go
So uncertain is the life today
So lame we remain
So dull we are today
The sky may fall on us
The sun may swallow our only earth
Let's go back to KING of the day
Let's run to seek the blessings of our LORD
Pray five times a day
Pray and fast full in sackcloth
Go to the temple with grace
Go give charity with faith
Marry young and get its reward
Marry sunnatically for your child to pray
For you they shall pray
For you their prayers no delays
Ya Lord forgive their mistakes
Ya Lord have mercy on the dead
They were just too young to go
They never saw it coming their way
