Today I am 100 days sober and it feels pretty good. I can’t remember the last time I had put together this many days, or even if I had ever done it, to be honest.
While things have not magically become effortless for me, I feel better and I can face whatever issues come about in a sober manner.
I still have a long way to go but I am confident I can deal with whatever comes my way. I am in no way becoming an evangelist for sobriety. Plenty of my friends and family still drink. I do not want to become one of those guys who chastises others for drinking.
Sobriety works for me because being drunk didn’t.
