This week we have tried to make the most of it, although with difficulties, related to the orchard, among them the weather, the warm weather and so on.
Even so, we have been able to enjoy some items that have been harvested despite the high temperatures.
As you will see in the pictures, we have been able to harvest this variety of pinto bean.
A different kind from the rest of the beans that are grown in the area.
One of the details is that its shell can have up to 30 beans. And it can measure up to 30cm long.
On the other hand, this bean, as its name says, has the particularity of having many pints.
By far, it is an exquisite bean, quite soft, and very easy to handle, and very resistant to the weather as well.
On the other hand, and without knowing where they came from, we have found some patilla plants 😬😬😬😬.
It is possible that some of them are due to the birds that walk through the orchard leave residues and that is why they are here.
Which we are very grateful for, as we had no patilla seeds.
In addition to that, fortunately there are still some eggplant plants left, and we are lucky.
We forgot how important it is to reuse organic seeds, and we just concentrate on eating.
But at least we're still keeping these beautiful.
And finally, these cute little ladybugs were doing a nice job of killing off aphids, which are parasites that lodge under some plants to suck out the sap.
I found these under the bean plants, and boy, have they been good allies.
Well my friend, this way we are going crazy little by little through the garden, I hope this year will go great in yours.
Best wishes
