Every dawn, I rise before the sun,
A quiet house, a day begun.
Coffee brews, its scent so warm,
A routine now, my daily norm.
I lace my shoes, step out the door,
A jog through streets I once ignored.
The old me would have laughed, I know,
At this new path, this steady flow.
Friends from then would shake their heads,
At early mornings, at books I've read.
But here I am, in this new light,
A simple change, a different sight.
