Last summer, we had a very nice family staycation on the North side of Oahu at a beach house. Well, one family did flew in from the mainland but it’s still considered a staycation. And one of the most simple fun things to do when staying at a beach house is to go play on the beach.
I set a plan to get the girls out for a hunting excavation of CRABS!!! Yes, these young ladies had about an hour of practice of spot crabs under sand burial, how to catch and release crabs safely. Then I let them loose in the wild!!! And here they are; summer girls gone crabbing...and release. And of coure the moms and aunties were spectating. Enjoy!
Well?!!! Aren’t they just so adorable and kinda fun to watch? I definitely enjoyed this video as it brought back great memories of that super fun family beach house staycation that didn’t require much to have a great time. Family together is all we needed.
And the last thing she said on the video was; “How about the next crab we find we take a picture?” And I did just that! Here is that picture. What do you think?! Kinda cool, yeah?!
