John Doe? If I have 3000 coins to sell right now and the top asking price is 0.00008000 and to get on top of the market I would sell at 0.00007999 but I would still have to wait until someone buys at this price (I could also pool with the asking price of 0.00008) but if I want money faster I would go to a bidder and his price is 0.00007537 if the order isn't filled, then I would go to the bid below witch is 0.00007535 increasing the price drop candle.
0.00007535 will become the new last price and some sellers will adjust their sell order accordingly, if everyone follow this trend the price will also drop. Of course if there are more buyers then sellers they will have no choice to accept the asking price then the price will increase naturally. But if every token owner collectively refuse to sell below $8 wouldn't the value of the token go up without large volumes of traders .
A small supply is one factor but I believe if everyone stop selling at panic sell prices some coin will hold and retain value especially ICOs. Tell me what you think.
